Nut Free Ice Cream in time for 2018 Food Allergy Week
Further building the trust of families with food allergies, Bulla has extended its 2L Nut Free Ice Cream offer into the 10L foodservice range for use across restaurants, cafeterias and other catering operations.
As the first manufacturer in Australia to introduce a nut free ice cream made in a dedicated nut free facility, Bulla is committed to selling its ice cream alternative beyond supermarket shelves.
For 2018, Bulla has pledged its support for allergy awareness by becoming a sponsor of Allergy & Anaphylaxis’ Food Allergy Week and is proud that the launch of its foodservice product will allow anyone with a nut allergy can enjoy Bulla ice cream, made with fresh milk and cream.
“Following the positive response from consumers to our initial 2L Bulla Nut Free Ice Cream launch in 2017, we’re very proud to be able to take this a step further and extend this offering to our foodservice partners,” said Andrew Noisette, Bulla Frozen Marketing & Portfolio Strategy Manager.

With Vanilla, Chocolate and Strawberry flavours available, the range is gluten free and will be extended to a 5L format. With six to eight per cent of Australian children^ suffering from nut allergies, Bulla proudly dedicated an entire factory to the production of its Nut Free Ice Cream in 2017, along with a dedicated group of staff and suppliers who are educated on the quality and safety of the products manufactured.
With a committed testing system** analysing the incoming ingredients and finished products throughout the production process, the safety and quality of products is ensured, without compromising on Bulla’s signature taste.
