Bulla caters beyond supermarket shelves with Foodservice NUT FREE* Ice Cream range

Further building the trust of families with food allergies, Bulla has extended its 2L Nut Free Ice Cream offer into the 10L foodservice range for use across restaurants, cafeterias and other catering operations.
As the first manufacturer in Australia to produce nut & gluten free ice cream made with fresh Australian milk and cream, Bulla is committed to selling its ice cream alternative beyond supermarket shelves.
“Following the positive response from consumers to our initial 2L Bulla Nut Free Ice Cream launch in 2017, we’re very proud to be able to take this a step further and extend this offering to our foodservice partners,” said Andrew Noisette, Head of Marketing at Bulla Dairy Foods.
“Listening to the demand of our consumers and working closely with Allergy & Anaphylaxis Australia was crucial during the development of Bulla Nut Free Ice Cream. We hope these foodservice launches will give more people peace of mind and allow even more Australians to enjoy a delicious scoop (or two) of Bulla ice cream.”
With Vanilla, Chocolate and Strawberry flavours available, the range is gluten free and will be extended to a 5L format. With six to eight per cent of Australian children^ suffering from nut allergies, Bulla has a testing program that assists in ensuring that this product is nut-free. In addition, Bulla's dedicated staff are trained to ensure our factory remains nut-free.
With a committed testing system** analysing the incoming ingredients and finished products throughout the production process, the safety and quality of products is ensured, without compromising on Bulla’s signature taste.

*Made in a factory that does not use nuts and tests for the presence of peanut, walnut, almond, cashew, hazelnut, macadamia & pistachio but cannot test for the presence of other types of nuts.
